I think one of the most important things in being a follower of Jesus is finding your spiritual gift. God has given each one of us strengths, very unique qualities to our innermost being that makes us who we are. There are many great scriptures that tell how God calls us to use our gifts.
"God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God's generosity can flow through you. Are you called to be a speaker? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then God will be given glory in everything through Jesus Christ. All glory and power belong to Him." 1 Peter 4:10-11
"God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well" Romans 12:6
Find your gift and use it. God has given each of us gifts to build up the church. We all have different gifts. Our goal should be to serve others wholeheartedly with what God has given us.
