Miss Emma is growing up so fast. We have had a good couple of weeks in the new year. She has achieved several milestones this past month. She is pulling up on everything by herself and cruising along all the furniture and toys. She walks around the house pushing her wagon by herself. She can walk holding onto one of our hands pretty well now, rather than using both our hands. She has started dancing anytime she hears music. She is finally taking sips from her cup... YEAH!!! She has started eating table foods and ICE. She loves ice. She has eaten mashed potatoes, whole green beans and scrambled eggs. She's still eating all her favorite baby food fruits, veggies and oatmeal every morning too.
She's started this pose where she holds one or both of her hands up like she's saying "I don't know".. i put a picture of it above... She does that all the time, it's funny. She's becoming quite a little character. We love her very much.
All else is well in the Tomlin household. We are staying busy with work and play. I start back to school this week to finish my last year of getting my Masters as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Please keep me in your prayers for this new adventure. It will be quite a juggling act to balance school, work, being a wife and mother and having some time for myself (what is that really once you become a mother???).... anyways. It can be done, but pray that it will go smoothly without affecting Cory and Emma too much. Thanks to our mothers, who will be helping out in the babysitting department, it will get done one way or the other.
We are going on our first family vacation at the end of the month. We are going with my parents to Winter Park Colorado on a ski vacation. It will be my parents first trip to Colorado during the winter months... and my dad's first time to ski. Mimi has volunteered for babysitting duty while my dad, Cory and I attack the slopes. We are very excited about this adventure. It will be Emma's first time to fly. Pray for her !!!!
We love you all, thanks for keeping up with us.

Wow! I cannot believe that Emma is walking so well. It seems just yesterday that we were praying for her arrival. She is truly evidence of God's creative genius. I pray that you all have a great time in Colorado. :)
