12 weeks old!!

Emma Claire is 12 weeks old now. She is growing so big and so fast. She's smiling, laughing and just babbling on all the time. She loves to sit up and look around at everything. She's becoming so observant. She's sleeping well at night (most of the time), usually 8-9 hour stretches. Just depends on how she's feeling. She got her first set of shots a few weeks ago. She was almost 11 lbs and was 23 1/4 inches long. She is absolutely perfect.

Well the dreaded day is here. Sunday I have to go to work. Donna (Cory's mom) is coming to keep Emma for us. I am working a night shift. So that should be easier on Emma, since she sleeps through the night now. She's so funny. As I am sitting here typing, she's laying in her crib talking away to the mobile animals.

All of our family is well. We got to go on our first get away trip to Austin for the weekend. We went with Ryan, Brandy and the boys to stay at Chris' house. We got to see Chris as well. It was a good weekend and Emma did very well.

My sister is almost 5 months along now, we get to find out what this baby is on June 11th (hopefully).

Thanks for checking on us. Pray that I will have some peace about going back to work this week. I am sure I will cry the whole way there... but I know it will be fine once I get back in the swing of things. A little adult interaction will be good for me.
