Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone! We are horrible family members and friends as we are not sending out Christmas cards this year. So this is our Christmas card to all, our apologies!! Things have been a little crazy around our household. Anyways, most importantly we are all doing very well. I am almost 29 weeks along now (that's 7 months- haha). Emma Claire is growing and growing. She is a very active little thing, she gets that honestly! We are getting very excited but anxious as the time approaches. The reality of it all really hasn't set in yet. I guess it probably won't until we bring her home. We are painting the room this week and setting up the nursery.
I went to the doctor today for my 28 week visit last week and everything went well. All my labs were great. Now I start going to the doctor every 2 weeks, so things will start to fly by more quickly now. Thank goodness, I am running out of room... and the not sleeping has already started.
We are looking forward to Christmas, this is the first year we have both been off for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in 4 or 5 years. We look forward to spending time with both our families.

I am asking for your prayers for my family though (the New's). We lost my great-grandfather Grandpa Fansler last Monday. He went to be with Jesus quietly in his sleep. But most importantly, remember my mom and my grandmother in your prayers. Losing a loved one is so hard. I know how hard it was (and still is) losing my Papaw Thomas. No matter how old they are it is truly a deep loss, especially around the holiday season.
Cory's job is going well. He actually got to drive the fire truck one shift a few weeks ago, which was very exciting. No worries, he didn't have any wrecks. He did a great job, of course.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope you have a wonderful time whether you are with your families or alone. You are all in our hearts and prayers.
We love you all,
Holly, Cory, Emma and Jake
P.S. Congrats to Chris... 2 GRAMMY NOMINATIONS... go buy "See the Morning" if you haven't already... my goodness, awesome CD! They are going on tour in the Spring.
