Meet Baby Tomlin

Here he or she is!! It's first picture. This is from our 1st sono taken July 24, 2006. We saw the baby's heartbeat for the first time, which was absolutely amazing. It is still so hard to believe that I have a human being growing inside of me. Also, that something so small could make me feel so rotten. I am just about 10 weeks now. The all day sickness set in about two weeks ago. It has not been fun at all. Poor Cory, he has done such a great job helping around the house with cooking and cleaning. All of you who are moms understand exactly what I mean, sometimes there is just no way it is going to happen. (Haha) We go to the doctor again in two weeks. We should hopefully be able to hear the heartbeat again with the doppler. Hopefully the baby will be big enough to hear it. We will be able to find out the sex of the baby around weeks 18-20.

Last week we went on vacation to San Francisco and Carmel/Monterey area. We had a great time, it was so good to get away and be together. The weather was unbelievable. We wore long sleeves and pants everyday (avg. temp was low 60s). So nice!!! We traveled to Napa Valley for a day and visited several wineries. It was really neat to see how detailed and complicated the wine making process is. We were in San Francisco for a few days and then drove down the famous Highway 1 to Monterey and Carmel. The drive was beautiful. We went to Pebble Beach, which was by far Cory's favorite part of the trip.

Cory finally got his test results for his paramedic national exam.. HE PASSED!!! Of course, we knew he would. But it is a relief to finally know for sure that it is all over with. He can now put the books away for good and enjoy life!!! We are all so proud of him and all he has accomplished.

"Praise the Lord! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever." Psalm 106:1

A person very dear to us once wrote a little song about this verse.... these words are so true!
"Forever you are faithful
Forever you are strong
Forever you are with us
Forever, Forever! "

Thank you all so much for all your love, encouraging words and most especially your prayers. We are so grateful for all of these things. We love you all!
Tomlin Family
