I've taken my sister's lead here... For the next few weeks, I am going to be posting my most memorable Christmas memories... going to have to try to find some pictures too to post...
I must explain the video below. This is my best Christmas memory every. My family tradition is to watch White Christmas (Bing Crosby's) every year on Christmas Eve. In fact, while Cory and I were dating, he use to call me every Christmas Eve night (and interrupted this movie several years... haha). Anyways, this particular song was the best part of the movie. My sister Amy and I would play the parts of Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen... Amy was Rosemary (the oldest) and I was Very (the youngest). We had these awful feather decorations in our house (Sorry Mama!) that we used too as our props, much like the real movie. We sang and dance and put on the performance every year until we got too cool to do that. I just wish we had video of us doing this to watch now.
I have so many wonderful memories of Christmas. They all include family... my Christmases in the past were always centered around family, food and celebration of Jesus' birthday. This is my favorite time of year for so many reasons, although it does make me miss those loved ones who have already passed on to be with Jesus.
