Operation Christmas Child

In our church life group, we participated in Operation Christmas Child, which is part of Samaritan's purse (organization by Franklin Graham, Billy's son). It was a really neat experience. The point is to fill a shoebox full of necessities, toys, etc. that is then sent to children across the world, where they are also told about God. We did 2 boxes, one for a girl and one for a boy. It was fun buying the stuff to fill the box. Emma isn't quite old enough to understand the concept, she wanted the toys for herself. But one day I'll enjoy her coming with me to pick out things for these boys and girls.
I highly recommend participating in this activity if you haven't already...
Here's the link to learn about Operation Christmas Child

Hope you're all doing well.. things are fine around here. Miss Emma has been a little under the weather and not sleeping well. Therefore Mommy and Daddy are not sleeping well. It's rough when you're use to sleeping!! We'll survive this I am sure! Life is good.. God is good!
Love you all!
