Emma 13 months old

We are so blessed to have Emma in our lives. She is such a joy. She is 13 1/2 months old now. She is so much fun. She loves to play outside. She has such a fun personality. Each month it just gets better and better. She loves giving kisses and cuddling. She loves to go on walks outside and swing on her swing set. Her favorite foods are chicken, green beans, cheese, pickles and her milk too! We went from not hardly drinking out of a cup at all at a year to one month later drinking over 20 ounces a day of milk. Her favorite is when I put the chocolate Pediasure in with her milk.. trying to fatten her up a bit. We are up to about 19 lbs now... We're almost to the point of turning the car seat front facing. Poor thing, she won't know what to do when she can finally catch all the action.

All else is going in our lives.... I am finishing up my first semester back to school since Emma. I have to say that it went much better than I expected. All I have left is to take my final in a few weeks and then I will get a break for 3 weeks before the summer semester starts.. Not it's the countdown.. one year left until I graduate. Originally I would be graduating in 3 weeks but instead I got the best gift God could ever have given me, Miss Emma Claire. It's amazing how God's plans override our plans. When we let him take control of our life, he can do far more than we can! Cory's doing well, he is going on a brother's vacation to Florida next week with Chris and Ryan. Other than that, he's Mr. Mom and fireman all in one. He had his first real fire last week, so he was all excited about that. He smelt like smoke for days!! I am very proud of him though. He is such a good husband and even more a better father. Emma is so lucky and she sure does love her Daddy!

We are doing good.... surviving the Spring storms of Texas.... we did have our first experience in the closet as a family at 4am for the tornado warning a few weeks ago. That was very scary... there was so much damage in Allen, but we were spared. Thank you Lord! I love this time of year for the beautiful days with highs in the 70s and the sun.. but I HATE the storms. I am such a weenie!!!! Anyways, we hope you are all doing well. Thank you for checking on us.

Love,

Holly, Cory & Emma
